White people seriously wear those?

I could kinda go for the ones with the Dia de los Muertes skull .

But, for sure one would have to tuck their pants in the top and that's just too 'hick" for me.

Even Deflave wouldn't buy Birkenstocks without trying them on first.

This on-line boot chit makes ZERO sense. Seems like it takes 1 in 20 pairs to find something I like.

Put me down as another one that will not buy online, so I can't help you there, and yes a lot of the old popular brands are now made overseas and are shidt compared to their former quality, but what conditions are you gonna wear them in? I personally can't bring myself to pay more than 200-250$ for a pair of boots, because I ride nearly every day and am kicking my feet into stirrups or coming in contact with manure or urine...etc. Having said all that, I find Ariats to be a solid boot if you get something like the Heritage Rough Stock. I have to replace the foot bed once a year, but tend to get 2-3 yrs use out of them. Avoid the rubber sole and heel boots without leather midsoles. They are not supportive enough in my experience.

Another brand I am trying is the Twisted X brand. Seems like a decent boot, though the finish comes off them every time I give'em a hard look. grin

But anyway, good luck with your search.

If I ever order cowboy boots online by tracing my foot on a template, just shoot me behind the ear.

Buying cowboy boots online without trying them on sounds pretty stupid to me. But hey it’s a brave new world.

My feet are oddly sized - Beck makes boots to order, and sends a kit with instructions on how & where to measure your feet for a great fit.
It's so simple, I didn't trust it. Went to their store, got measured - and the measurements were right on.
Expensive, but worth every $

If you have a make/model/size/width that you like and fits well, online is very easy.
