If the trail were fair he would have been given the death penalty. That video him driving the life out of a handcuffed and laying on the ground George Floyd was the first real murder that I've seen in my life. I didn't pay much attention to the trial. I did see the video, not all of it, but what I did see was pretty tough to justify. Not sure what the guy could have done beforehand to justify what he got.
But, ya play stupid games, ya win stupid prizes. If he doesn't resist he's probably out there somewhere tonight buzzed out of his gourd on meth.
Either way, he'll still be voting dems for the next 30 years.

I don't see any way it could have been a fair trial. Too much media coverage and democrap politicians mouthing off would have made a fair trial impossible.

Regardless of whether the trial was fair, the verdict most certainly was not.

Sounds like he was following Al Sharpton's advise on tax's and easy money .
Chauvin and his ex-wife also faced felony tax evasion charges in Washington County last year. Court documents revealed that the Chauvins were accused of not reporting and underreporting hundreds of thousands of dollars of income. Assistant County Attorney Scott Haldeman said at the time the investigation began days after the death of Floyd, when the Minnesota Department of Revenue received information about the Chauvins.
“They’re accused of not filing tax returns from the years of 2016, 2017 and 2018. The Chauvins did file returns in 2014 and 2015, but severely underreported the income in those returns,” Haldeman said. Chauvins’ Oakdale home also got raided during the investigation and investigators took a look at bank records and talked with employers.
