This is the third guy in recent memory that I've heard of to do this in KY. Retirees build nice lake homes on bluffs over lakes, get complacent after a few years, go a little too fast or be a little too slow on the brake, and next thing you know they're mowing air.

If I ever had a lake home on a bluff, there would be a solid wall of some kind on the edge. That ride down has got to suck.

There are some really steep banks on a local lake I fish on. The houses are all multi-million dollar houses and have perfectly manicured lawns, even on the steep waterfront side. I’ve watched a few runaway mowers end up in the drink.

Reading the owners manual that came with my Kubota GR2120, it said that operators 60 years of age and older were more at risk of accidents while operating machinery. I should have read the manual before purchasing and bought a push reel mower instead.

They've pulled a handful of hapless retards out of the sound that drove down a local boat ramp right into the drink.
My buddy found one of them 10 years or so ago. . Still buckled in. Guarantee if it was in the last year they'd still have a mask on as well.

I’ve got a few steep hills on the property I mow. Been doing it with a push mower which sucks.

This morning I took the JD e500 down the slopes a few times.

Fugg that ! Back to the push mower.
