Ditto.
Despite some nonsense being posted, an attorney isn't 'dragging out' a warrant for bloods. When needed, I'll generally have one signed and in hand in less than 40 minutes (less now, thanks to The Covids and our Judges finally doing more via email).

And at that point you should be able to get a warrant and draw blood.

That wasn’t good enough, the court dropped it Eventually but the state still took my license.

Yeah.

You kinda lose your right to a fair anything once you’re accused of drinking three beers and operating something as complex as a car.

Funny how drunks think it’s ok to drive drunk.

Feeling left out? Maybe someone will start a “Who has had a prolapsed colon?” Thread and you can jump in with both feet and play all expert. Lmfao

No. Deserved a couple over the years. Sooner or later, however, my kid is going to get nailed. He needs a serious wake up call.

Now there’s a story of note, sorry for your loss, she must have been wonderful.

She was exceptional!

I never have but I know a few folks who have.

Nope. By the grace of God. Only pulled over once. Blew a .069 when .07 was impaired. Lady cop wasn't happy. Actually had to use the eye patch a few times in the 80's - it works to some degree. MADD and the Jesus Freaks used to sit at a coffee shop across the street from the bars. They offered free rides home if you submit to their little mobile crusade on the way home. IDGAF. I was usually pretty schitfaced so I'm sure I got my Jesus on for them. Ride home? Amen Brother. At least I didn't drive.

I don't drink and drive anymore. Not worth it. Might have a toddy with dinner at the restaurant, but that's about it. Now if there's a DD, well...

Buddy was heading to the dock to go fishing at 8am on a Sunday morning. Made a left turn into...a cop. Other buddy who he was going to meet watched the whole thing. Totaled both vehicles. Cop injured his wrist. Blew a .18 at 8am. Never heard a word about it. Kinda went away quietly in court. Weird.

There's a simple rule of how to be a good criminal: don't break two laws at the same time. If you drive drunk, don't speed, etc.

Who blew a .18?....your buddy or the cop?

If it was the cop I can understand it being swept under the rug.

They don't get promoted for helping innocent people. COMPREHENDO ?

Do not provide them evidence to hand your azz. COMPREHENDO ?

This coming from the guy that spent his whole life in an indian village.

LOL

You'd need Columbo, Matlock, Perry Mason, and the NSA to locate a sober driver in your AOR.

Normally these threads bring out the self righteous pimping dead loved ones in an internet argument.

A breathalyzer can provide proof that you've been drinking.
