Very good attorney told my brother never take a breathalyzer. He said he can get you off if you don’t but you’re likely screwed if you do. He’s very right. ‘Splained please A breathalyzer can provide proof that you've been drinking. this, coming from an expert. LOL

I never got one, just dumb luck. It's also really dumb bad luck for most people that get one. Millions drive "intoxicated" any given day, and very, very few get dui's etc.

Millions drive "intoxicated" any given day, and very, very few get dui's etc. this, my oldest son got one pulling out of his apt parking lot to go pick up a friend who was too drunk to drive, forgot to use his turn signal. he had only had 4 or 5 beers and wasn't drunk, but it put him over the legal limit.

When I shot IPSC I would drink a few beers before the match, I shot better because I wasn't as nervous. Like playin' pool!

When I shot IPSC I would drink a few beers before the match, I shot better because I wasn't as nervous. Like playin' pool! 2 was always my limit for shooting pool. Any more and I’d get too relaxed and stop caring about winning and more about drinking beer.

Atkins writes about shooting and alcohol at great length in his book "Unrepentant Sinner." He got pretty scientific with it.
Camp Perry and similar matches had "drinking tents" for a long, long time.
