Got 75 bucks a day, to be in the background, acting like I was mining! They paid us after day two! The mining scenes were finished! Went back to falling timber over by Granite!

Wife and I went out to Medora, ND for an extended weekend. She drug me to the "famous" Medora musical. About 76 hours into it, I finally thought it was over only to find out it was just intermission!
I felt like walking back up to the steak fondue and jumping off the building head first into a pitchfork!

My wife's grandfather rented a couple teams of mules to the movie. Got to meet Lee Marvin but missed the chance to meet Clint.
I could wish a lot of things on my worst enemy but neuropathy ain't one of them.

All musicals suck, I'd rather watch my lawn grow than any of them. To each his own - doing Broadway type musicals has been some of the most rewarding stuff, in more ways than one. Played for Paint YourWagon when it was on stage - felt the movie was a better rendition. In later ears, met and worked with Lee Marvin in Tucson on a youth orchestra project - quite enjoyable - a very good man in my experience.
