OK, this is awesome again. You boys are killing it out west big time and I'm loving being treated to these wonderful glimpses of members' lives in our beloved nation. Anyone who hunts, fishes or runs with me knows I'm very hard on my tools and toys and make neither excuse nor bones about things getting used and occasionally abused. No puzzle at all, but damn, my boy Stubbsensation is looking rough and rode hard. Which makes me--and him-- happy chappies. Thank you, boys. Keep this train running!

P.S. Before you ask for the 8th time, the answer is a hard negative, Wabi9oon, friend of an enemy of solid guys everywhere. A couple members I respect stood up for your character, but that notwithstanding, old Sun Tzu had it right in many ways. There's the old "the enemy of my enemy is my friend", and it stands to reason then that the friend of my enemy is also my enemy. Last interjection of wise old ST for now: "The supreme art of war is to subdue the enemy without fighting". Your buddy the forever disgraced, loathed and shunned GG can suck on that, too. Have a good one.

Oops. I ran a brush and some patches through him and put some Break Free on him yesterday. Nothing too meticulous. I hope that isn't a problem.

Doubt that's a big issue Cheyenne.

I think even kamo takes a bath, shower, or a swim every once in awhile.

I've heard rumors of such.

As long as he doesn't post a Saturday Night Bath Farmin' video, I'll take it for what it's worth.

Poor Stubbs just got caught outside on the back deck at the house when a typical (June through August) hail storm hit. This is 5 minutes' worth, and there is a flash flood in front of the house that Stubbs did not see because I was running more patches through him. While he was getting pelted, my wife was running around trying to save small, tender plants. Like Randy in
A Christmas Story
, Stubbs lay there like a slug. (Of course, I was doing like most idiots in a mass casualty event, taking pictures so my friends could see it.)

Point of clarification, is "running patches through him" code for something? Sounds kinda gay.

Well, at least patches isn't the name for a pet vole or shrew!

Looks like some of those starter pots got a bit cold. Hope none of them had 'mater starts or peppers.

I had hoped to show Stubbs some more sights, but my schedule got jammed unexpectedly. He is on his way to Nebraska. Because I didn't see anyone signed up for Colorado, I at least touched base in that state. Hopefully, someone in Colorado will invite Stubbs for a visit. It's a beautiful state, politics notwithstanding.

Rocky Mountain National Park as seen from the border. To the right of the muzzle about 1/4 from the right edge of the frame are three dots that are antelope. Stubbs saw hundreds of those, but in every case Stubbs would have been out of the frame had I zoomed on the critters.

Safe travels, Stubbs!

Stubbs made it to Nebraska. Showed part of my shop at work, then the ride home. Kinda hot. Now cooling off the basement with BBQ chips. I think they named these after Stubbs. Watching the Opry tonight.

We'll see what tomorrow brings.
