Umm, maybe get the book. I think Hollywood missed the whole point that Cormac McCarthy wanted to make. It's like saying the Civil War was about slavery.

Well this is a fine pickle we're in, should'a listened to Joe McCarthy and George Orwell I guess.

Small Town Crime.

Good cast with John Hawkes from Deadwood and Robert Forster.

Story gets a bit thin at times, but good shootout at the end and some gratuitous justice.

Check out "Get Shorty" on Prime.

First season was fantastic.

Hitmen from Pahrump, NV whack a guy and steel his screenplay and make a movie with it.

Hilarity ensues.

Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

I recommended Bone Tomahawk, and I believe it deserved an Academy Award nomination.

Another good flick is The Burrowers.

Might be on Prime or Hulu.

There was a movie about something similar. I believe it starred John Travolta

Sons of Sam, a documentary on Netflix that explores the theory that David Berkowitz didn't act alone, but was in fact part of a satanic cult.

Pretty good. I had no idea this was even a theory.

Wrath of Man.

Guy Ritchie film.
Jason Statham playing himself. Of course.
Jeffrey Donovan and Scott Eastwood in supporting roles.
With a cameo role by Andy Garcia

Good action flick.

The Sting is free on Prime. Excellent movie. Like Oceans Eleven set in the early 1920s.

Also Top Secret is on Prime. Pretty funny movie from the 80s starring a young Val Kilmer.

For science fiction, action, horror, there's Resident Evil, with the "Multipass" chick from The Fifth Element. They also have the first sequel to it. I think there were four sequels in all.

Should have also been nominated for an Oscar for Best Audio.

Nothing like that sound of a dude being split longways like a cord of wood with a bone axe.

Watched a good survival movie couple of nights ago on Prime called Jungle. True story about some backpackers who get lost in the jungle of Bolivia. Harry Potter kid is the main character. We enjoyed it.

Hatred on AP.
It's about Eastern Galicia in the '30s and how the Poles dealt with the Ukrainians before WWII and how they both dealt with each other after war broke out.
It has English subtitles and is one of the best movies I've seen in a very long while.

Sounds interesting. I'll try watching this tonight. I watched defiance the other night which was decent. It was James Bond hiding eastern European jews in the forest during ww2.

Watched Population 436 on Netflix last night on a recommendation from a friend. Afterwards, I called him and asked if he was serious when he said it was a great movie. He maintained that he thought it was.

Wow. I'll never get that 1 1/2 hours of my life back...
