Personally I think this is a very underrated cartrige
It has many uses Of course those on the thread see it,the value I am talking in general
I shoot more of this out of my AR than 556 or 223 for sure

I must be the luckiest SOB alive....I've got 6 PSAKs and everyone of them shoot wolf Hps like a champ. Hell my poly stock GF5 with FN barrel will hold 2" groups with a sign Romeo. My palmetto AR loves the tula 122 hp stuff. It shoots 1.5 moa with it. I like the on game performance of the Barnal 125g SP. The soft point stuff expands nice and holds together. Bb

Same deal, in my bolt action 308's the Tula SP's shoot great, they expand nice on deer, cheap, expands, shoots inside 2".
I wish I would have bought a few cases of that back when it was $7/box. I just missed it several times at target sports a few years ago. It seemed to sell out fast then. I guess the hog hunters down south use a lot of it. Bb

If I may jump into this thread, I plan to sell my 7.62x39 loading stuff. Redding die set, several boxes of bullets - including hunting type, lightly used brass, maybe some new. Also ammo, S&B, some Chinese. Can't get the Chinese stuff anymore, but in my experience it performed better than other imports, including accuracy.
PM if interested.

Back when I got my Russian SKS in the emid-90's, I also bought 1000 WW cases and at least 1000 WW 123 grain soft points. I found a decent load (don't remember what it was) and loaded up a few hundred. As it is, I haven't shot them all up yet. Thinking lately I wouldn't mind getting a small bolt gun or AR to play with in this caliber.

I have always shot Barnaul out of my Ruger Mini 30.... 122gr - 123gr and 124gr HP's. Brother-in-law and I hunted up-sate NY deer hunting. Never had a failure and the deer never ran very far.
