Grilled
Ballpark all beef
Little Greek seasoning
Mustard and ketchup
Chili and coleslaw if available.

I’ve tried the just mustard, and prefer it with kielbasa and brats, but not dogs.

Not sure how to answer since I LOVE them and could probably make an argument for many different combinations.

Love them anyway you want to cook them. I prefer the Jewish all beef wienies. Snappy.
I've even been known to throw them in the microwave for a quick lunch. Dill relish and mustard.

Chili Cheese Dogs ! With mustard of course. And sweet pickle relish.

I buy the cheap Oscar Meyer ones. And not the all beef ones.

Grilled eight tonight, we ate 4. Tomorrow morning it will be sliced in half and fried with 2 over easy, or chunked and scrambled with 2eggs and cheddar cheese.

Sounds reasonable.

I have never looked at a chicken carcass and thought....Gee....I wish I could grind that carcass down to a paste and eat it in a hot dog.

Beef and pork only for me.

2 hotdogs and a fountain drink for $3.06.

Something about steamed hotdogs.

Everyone in the family prefers European-style wieners, in natural lamb casing. Boiled.

They have a nice snap when you bite into them. We always have some in the house.

Mustard and ketchup. + Hot sauce for me.

I like to spiral cut mine about 1/8" deep along the length of the hotdog and put them in a toaster oven. Mustard, Ketchup, and pickled Jalapeno sliced peppers.
Also like them with sauerkraut, mustard and Jalapenos

Smoke them. About and hour or 1 1/2 at around 225. Always add some large all beef dogs to the smoker when smoking anything else and I am always amazed at how delicious they are.

Farmers sausage, Smokies or wild game sausages.

I'll eat a "commercial" hotdog, bought at a game or something, but will not buy them to cook at home.

A Ballpark chicken, and pork is hard to beat as far as a plain hotdog goes.

In Canada I'll buy Smokies.

Not a fan - pass the brats.

BUT - If I must have them - grilled, locally made Salmon's in a lobster roll for a bun. Top with white cheese and mac, bacon bits, and cracked black pepper.

Sheetz. Chilli, nacho cheese, relish, and onion.

Could be there in 5 minutes.
Just might.

Something about suction dogs too.
Sauerkraut, ketchup, onion, mustard.

With just the two of us and rare dog eaters these days I buy all beef non-branded from behind the local grocer case. I bought two a couple of days ago. I grilled mine, nuked the bun wrapped in a damp paper towel. Mustard, onions and tomato finished it.

Never been a big fan of hot dogs but lately I can tolerate them. If they are decent quality, just some mustard. Boiled, fried, or steamed, doesn't matter. If they suck, the catsup, relish, onions, chili, etc. is just fine with me. And my preference would actually be horseradish.

I'd rather have a burger, sub, or sandwich instead of a hot dog. Brat or Italian sausage with onions and peppers is a different story though.

We "nuked" some Nathen's dogs in the micro wave.

They came out tough.

Back to grilling or steaming for me.

Boarshead or Hebrew National all beef, natural casing, boiled, with good spicy deli mustard, sauerkraut and Boarshead onions, on a steamed bun.

With an ice cold Weihenstephaner Original or Augustiner Brau Edelstoff or two.

Plan on a weeny roast tonight. With a niece and nephew with their kids.
For the unwashed, that’s when you have a bonfire in your back yard and roast your hotdogs and marshmallows on a stick over the fire. Best way to cook a wiener!

LOL. If ya drop them in the fire, just wipe the dirt off. 😜

Used to do them like that for my nieces and nephews when they were small and come to visit the Ranch.

They were all “city kids” growing up.

They had a blast roasting marshmallows and hot dogs over an open fire.

Extra free info here. An easy and slightly less messy way to make s’mores is to toast your marshmallow as usual, then sandwich between 2 Keebler fudge stripe cookies. They’re great!
