SAGE, the UK's health "expert panel," warns next Covid "super mutant variant" could kill up to one in three people, and the "vaccine roll-out may even speed up mutant strain's emergence." (Daily Mail)

If you work 40 hrs/wk: at 5% inflation and after 5 years, you need a 28% pay raise or to work 44 more hours (*one full extra week* per month+) to make up the difference.

This is inflation

BS! That's not the bags of tricks that was sold in the beginning. In the beginning it was 95% (or some high 90's percentage number)effective against COVID. Was going to stop everyone from getting it. Now that people who are vaccinated are getting COVID, it is "it lessens the effects'. So how do you know it lessens the effects with no baseline? With such a wide range of severity from no symptoms to death, how can you tell. Did they infect a bunch of people with COVID, see how bad they were and then give them the vaccine and re-infect them?

+1

That was reported from day 1 but folks here will not remember that fact or do not want to remember it.

BS, The claim from day 1 was 95% effective in preventing one from catching Covid-19. We know know that is not accurate

WRONG, I was told before I got the shot in February it would not prevent me from getting Covid but it would lower my chances of dying. I was on the fence until I spoke with my cardiologist on my chances of surviving having CFS.

And that is exactly what it is doing; 97% of recent deaths are people who did not get the shot, only 3% are people that got the shot so it is working just as advertised.

I had it, was asymptomatic, but I've got a pretty good immune system and have never had a reaction to a vaccine, either. So, given that yep, a worldwide thing would mutuate with 10 billion possible hosts, I decided long ago to get jabbed soon after I became eligible. Just watch for reaction anomalies, right? Not enough to be of concern to me, so I jabbed.
My primary concern is getting another variant, it becoming hot, and I'm asymptomatic and might infect someone else. I'm really not that worried about me.
Never expected it to completely protect me, but if you take the jab, at least your immune system can MODERATE whatever comes down the line, or at least the odds are pretty good that will be the case. If it hits me again, I don't know it, at least I'd like to radiate others less. For me, the jab was the rational option.

So 97 percent of the .6 percent who die were unvaccinated? Are these new numbers or what. Since they are not tracking the vaccinated people how do they get these figures? Ed

Even though they said the jab doesn't stop you from getting it?
Doesn't sound rational at all lol.

The jab doesn’t stop me from getting it and potentially spreading it. I’m going to get the jab to protect others. Lololololol
