I don't eat much bread, but when I do, I eat sourdough bread that I make myself. I've had a starter for almost 30 years.

I love home made bread. I have memories of my youth when my Italian grandmother would call my Dad and say she just baked some bread and we should come over. Her loaves were round and the crust was hard. I can still remember the taste of that hot bread with some butter on it and it was six decades ago.

If you ever in Brooksvillle MS. Where the road forks to go to either Columbus or Starkville, there’s a Mennonite bakery.
