Couple of weeks ago my 35P decided it wasn’t going to work at all, no print, no velocities, nothing. After a phone call to the very helpful folks at Oehler I took it to the range and performed the individual sensor test and again got zilch. After an email to them it was decided that it would have to be shipped back. Shipped on Friday, received Monday afternoon and yesterday I received an email that it was on its way back to be delivered tomorrow. Now that is customer service and product backing as it should be. 12 year old unit, repaired and shipped back home within a week evidently at no cost to me other than one way shipping, as I never received a phone call to pay for any replacement parts. Awesome folks to work with, Dr. Oehler should be proud of the great team he has there.

Just piling on more compliments here. Bought an Oehler 35 in the late 90's. Over the years somehow the casing got cracked pretty badly and it wouldn't edit shots anymore, just give the final specs of Hi, Low, ES etc. Sent it back and they replaced the casing and apparently there are DIP switches that need to be set in Edit mode or not (anybody remember what a DIP switch is? ) Took about a week and a half and cost $53 total for shipping there and back to get a brand new casing and an inspection for overall health. it's been going strong for some 23-24 years now and I expect it will still be going long after my expiration date. Too bad my Windows 95 PC wasn't as long lasting....
Gunnery, gunnery, gunnery. Hit the target, all else is twaddle!

Have heard numerous stories like these over the years.
Haven't needed any service on my 35P, but am definitely confident if by some chance it's needed!

Actually it is Oehler Research, I have had my 35P for more years than I can count. Had a problem with it about ten years ago. I called and talked to a friendly fellow at Oehler, he instructed me on how to fix it over the phone, then called back later to make sure everything was working properly. excellent customer service...Best Chronograph !!

Got my unit back today, invoice stated that they replaced the main board, tested all sensors and gave it a clean bill of health. Factory refurbished, No charge. In this day and age of pay big, junk 10 years down the road electronics it’s nice to see this. Going to call and see if I can buy em lunch as they deserve it.
