I never fired any of the new made steel case Russian. A couple cases of 7.62x54r surplus in an M44. I had a bunch of brass washed 174 grain that my M39 loved. I don't remember where it was made.

AK’s, SKS’s, AK74’s among others all got a whole more expensive to shoot and a lot harder to find ammo for. Even 6.5 Grendel and 9x19 and 223/5.56 will be more expensive. Nearly anyone into milsurp guns or common military cartridges will be effected directly or indirectly through higher prices, less competition and less availability. Wolf isn’t my go to 9mm ammo but I have a couple of cases of it. I had planned to take some to the range tomorrow and probably still will but might shoot less of it while waiting to see how this effects other ammo and supplies.

The Russian ammo took a lot of pressure off of the demand, and lowered prices.
Ammo will double in price in the next 6 months. Again.
