I can see the only stoplight in town from my front yard.
165 sewer connections. Don't know the total population.
I can see a DG in the other direction!
Its a metropolis for sure. Complete with corn fields.

The US population is ~ 100 people/ square mile.
In the bedroom community where I live in the suburbs of Seattle, is 4000 people per square mile. Extremely low crime, due to good people.
The city of Seattle has 5,000 people per square mile, but those are really bad people.
Where I hunt 900 miles from here, it is 3 people / square mile, and those are good people.

The entire county only has ~16k.
County seat is 2500. Only 2 redlights.
30 mins to Sams / Walmart’s.
5 mins to the DG. 😂

Ray when you live on a farm that is 1 section large(640 acres)you have folks that are 3/4miles to the south you can even piss of the front porch with no problems.

7 miles on Hwy 412, 50K closest. Home is 25 minutes there 5 miles to the grocery store, 2K, counting the days...
There lie the bones of my parents, and grand parents. My ashes will be scattered there as well. I have a Century Farm there and hope to spend my last days pottering about there. Good dirt, easy to grow a garden.

7 miles to town - population 900 (county seat). The county is 5000 sq miles, population is 4000 and about 28,000 head of cattle.
next closest town is 30 miles away - population 7, consists of a bar and post office.
closest town of over a 1000 (3000 population) is 55 miles, closest town of over 100,000 is 200 miles away.
There are getting to be too many people here.
