Three stoplights in our county! beat ya........ only one in county Nary a one. Well...there is a warning light over an intersection on the rez. Its just to wake the Indians back up....not a stop light.

Our address town is 4 miles but its a bedroom town. To nearest real town is 10 miles, 50k

16 miles about 2500 folks. Nearest Walmart 90 miles, nearest city of 10 or so K people- 90 miles, city of 50+K people - 150 + miles, nearest interstate - 100 miles and a mountain pass......all, too darn close! memtb

I live right on the edge of town. Neighbors to the east and west, and across the alley. Nine houses on our street. Everyone knows everyone.
Around 2700 people in town.
Free range dogs, people passed out on sidewalks, one fast food drive through, wave at 1/2 the pickups I meet, it's a funny place...
100 miles to Walmart(Williston ND), 320 miles to either Billings or Great Falls(100k).

No traffic lights in the whole county. 20 miles to nearest town of 430 people and it's the county seat.
