Dan, what kind of tree is that? I could see that turned into a snake trying his second attempt at catching a rodent. Cool looking tree no matter the species.

Definitely a very cool carving.
I’ve always sorta envied folks who have the ability to turn a piece of wood or a chunk of soap into a work of Art, let alone a rock. I can hold my own with nuts and bolts and wrenches, but haven’t the talent nor the patience to achieve anything like this.
My hat’s off to them.

It is a Sea Grape. Common on the Florida east coast, but not often seen that size.
