Holy crap!

My old made in Belgium Browning T-Bolt and my old S&W J Frame .22 Kit Gun that often lives in my back pack. Both are blued steel with walnut, they are beautiful and shoot better then I can.

An Anschutz 1415 my wife bought for me right after we got married while stationed in Germany.

A 1973 Ruger Single Six Convertible my father in law gave me.

I might need to hang on to this Cooper for a while

There's a lot of very nice rimfire's here. Thanks to everyone that has shared with stories and pictures. I'm still holding strong to keeping the one I mentioned in the op, but there's also one that I forgot to mention, since others have mentioned rifles with sentimental value. I have to bring up my dads Mossberg chuckster 22 WMR. While it looks new, my dad did his best to wear this rifle out when he was a kid. I'm serious. I had to replace a lot of parts on this rifle, from extractor, ejector, trigger, various springs and I also upgraded the iron sights. Its a cool little rifle and I actually used it in my clubs rimfire matches back before I bought my model 52 and the savage target rifles I have now:




One target that I will never forget is one I shot with that rifle. Not because it was a "possible", but because it was a stupid mistake on my part. I fired off the first shot and it was high and to the right, so I made an adjustment with the sights and then just fired off 9 more shots without looking through the spotter:


It was during a rimfire match my club was putting on about 5 years ago. It was a good learning experience for me. That rifle will put them all in the 10 ring, if I don't screw it up... Its a great shooting old 22 magnum that I will keep for the rest of my life.

I have 2 I'll never part with. The first is a Winchester 9422 that my Dad bought brand new back in 1976 and handed down to me a few years ago. It is still in beautiful shape, works smooth as butter, and is very accurate with 40 grainers.

The other is an old Savage/Stevens single shot bolt I inherited from my Grandpa. It is not a great shooter and is nothing to look at. It's in the white with a stock that may or may not actually be pine (whatever it is is very soft wood with almost no grain), but it was purchased by my great grandpa during the depression for pot hunting, so it will continue to stay in the family.

My favorite shooter would be the CZ-455 Thumbhole Laminate fluted barrel model. But for sheer sentimental value it's the Model 67 Winchester my dad got in the latter 1930's. Still in great shape and as accurate as I could ever shoot with old eyes & iron sights. Dad brought home a lot of small game before WW2 when money was still tight and my grandmother used lots of small game meat like rabbit, in things like stew because beef was a little above their budget limit back then.

A .22 handgun that I'd never get rid of is my Sig Sauer P226 with .22 RF conversion. A robust gun that's fun to shoot, accurate too !

My 1965 Remington 512X. Christmas gift from my dad. Has a Ted Williams 4X scope and a stock that I refinished back in 1969 with the Herters STock refinishing kit. Beautiful and a great shooter. My first gun!

For sure. I'd never let that one go, either.
