Does the cushy 9-5 supply good health insurance?
Rolling around eating chicken livers and deep fried egg rolls from Love’s and Buc-ee’s will cost ya a 1/2 million dolla quadruple bypass.

Lol Roach Coach, haven’t heard that in a few years.
Nasty ole girl used to run around in one of them hot box camper pickups. Said Running Chef on the door. lol
I’d almost bet a $10 spot she was giving something else besides $3 tenderloin biscuits.

🤣 Last time I was at the SFO airport clearing some cargo, one of those Taco Bus things pulls into the parking lot playing “la cuceracha”... I ‘bout busted a gut laughing. Did a brisk trade, however.

They just finished building a new $100 million high school here. Rode through to take a gander at it. Surprised it actually had a wing for what used to be called "shop". Place for woodworking and working on vehicles. Not sure what else.

I work in a warehouse a couple of days a week. Most of the young guys there are a joke. They wear sneakers and silk looking shorts. Tatoos and piercings. No work ethic what so ever. I blame the plight our country is in on no God and single parent upbringing

I've made 6 an hour and I've made 6 figures a year. Blue and white collars in my closet.
Having done both - if I could do it over, at 18/19 - I would have found a good trade and stayed. Plumber or electrician.

This whole thing feels wrong to me. I know from personal experiences that the labor pool is short. And the unemployment things that are a factor.
But in an area that has always been short jobs, the need to hire so many just seems...off.
I talk to so many that say their businesses are ok, but none are booming. But yet so many are needing so many people. This is an area of working people. Many worked some really crappy jobs for decades, because that's what we do.
To have businesses offering $15-25 to start, and be begging for over a month?
Well, drugs play in too.
But it still just seems...Not right.
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!

At the end of the day, real wealth is only created if tangible goods are produced by somebody. Everything else is a tax of some sort. If that somebody does not have your interest in mind you will suffer real real bad for your dependency.
Self production, parallel economies and isolation is best prepared for early. The storm is coming.
There is no way I would send my kids to college today.

The illegals have just about taken over the construction trade. Hard to find a roofing outfit, concrete, carpentry, drywall or finishing outfit that even speaks English. My nephew was in the roofing business for a few years. Did the bids and ran the crews for a really big outfit. They get around the law by having only one heffi that can speak English and is the sub. They all work for him and he has his own little cartel.
Nephew went on his own and one of the first jobs the crew was all Mexican. They were doing shoddy work and he chastised them for it. The entire crew walked off the job and left him high and dry. He had to finish the job himself. When I was young I decided I wanted to be a brick layer. Went to work as a helper and after a while they called me an apprentice. It's a crazy trade. Lots of people are convicts. Had to race to the bank every Friday to cash my check and hope I was lucky enough to get there before the account was closed.
Democrats figured out long ago they couldn't make it on their own so they went to work making everyone dependent on them. White, Black Brown it doesn't matter. We let this happen by re-electing them.

Starting pay for a prison guard is $34.50 in Telfair co. Georgia. That's about twice what a first year teacher makes in the county.

Idk, the whole system is fugged up.
I know of two boys in their early 20’s, they are just lazy. They’d rather game. Parents allow it.
Meanwhile we see more and more messkins in the oil patch.

My cousins son is a linemen and welder making excellent money from what I understand and is only 21. No degree but he is always looking for more schooling. He doesn't have trouble working or finding it.

Part of yesterday's crew. Turn your back for one second and they go on break. Beautiful shot there.
