Great thread, but as shown, everyone has different reactions. My doc initially put me on Indomethacin, which triggered constant tinnitus. Thanks doc. Starting doing my own research and found Colchicine through my pharmacy on Mauritus. Started with 5mg twice a day and its been easy going since. Oh, and losing 50 pounds didn't hurt! I don't eat a lot of beef, try to curb the pork intake, and just stay away from manufactured sugars.
I had an uncle who suffered from gout for years with no relief. Poor fella, must have been the devil's own curse for him. He was 6-4 and weighed 300#.
Yep. Losing 40 lbs severely reduced my Gout attacks.

Again, The Prednisone has worked miracles!
No pain or swelling after 4 days and back to walking normally.
