Found this knife this weekend; and trying to determine the purpose for the style. It is a Japan made Kaicut Edges Ahead that has an 8" double edge blade and a handle that seems like it would be for butchering purposes. Can't find one like it in my searches. Can anybody enlighten me on the use of this design? Thanks

They make stuff for food prep, pro stuff. But it sure looks like it would make a dandy snickersnack boot knife.

It's an 8" blade; need a tall boot

Could be handy anytime in Chicago - they killed 19 and shot 91 this weekend. Quite a stellar performance - even by their standards! 601 homicides and 2913 shot so far in 2021.
Its almost safer in Kabul!

My Wife worked for kershaw for 13 years and was their Historian. These were special ordered for fruit farmers direct from KaiCut. And yes, it is "pro" stuff.
