He’s not proud he’s just projecting it. He’s scared and he doesn’t know what to do about it. It doesn’t have to be that way, but at this point in life changing would be very difficult. Postmodernism comes in a fancy package but always ends up producing people just like this.

Its real shame to see Canada being destroyed by Trudeau's useful idiots with covid hysteria.

We obviously have it bad here too.

Well, it was fun to take a break from COVID, but it's time to get back to business. Here are a couple of good resources for people who live in, or will be visiting Ontario.

First, is the COVID Ontario site. We're doing okay! About 81% of the population has been fully vaccinated. That's close to 12 million of the 14.7 people who live here. Sadly, we have 292 people in hospital because of COVID. Of them, 172 are in ICU.

Riviere Fourchette Disaster

This is the 179th anniversary of the Riviere Fourchette disaster. In 1842, while gathering furs on Riviere Fourchette in northern Ontario, almost two people of the Hudson's Bay Company (Britishers) were killed when the canoe they were paddling slid on some water, and crashed into a rock.

The Britishers in the canoe were not wearing seat belts and were using cricket bats as paddles. The Governor General of the Province of Canada, Sir Charles Metcalfe, said of the accident,

"Oh my! Were the beaver pelts saved?"

As a result of the Riviere Fourchette incident, whites of the Hudson's Bay Company were ordered to wear seat belts and use native designed paddles to control their canoes.

The Fourchette incident was the first major disaster that occurred to the newly installed Governor General.

Using the native paddles saved many English lives. Britishers were also ordered to wear silly hats, so they could be spotted when they fell overboard. As well, the properly made paddles allowed operators to escape from danger more quickly and increased control of the larger fur canoes.

With a hospitalization rate of .0019% I now see why you're so fired up about this. I stand corrected, its a disaster of epic proportion. Hurry and give up all that useless liberty you've been so needlessly living with.

Holy crap

Health care is a provincial responsibility for the most part. Here is the link to the NF website. They have information there for travellers, as well as the travel form https://travel-declaration.nlchi.nl.ca/ and some other information unique to the province.

Here are a couple of other links that might be helpful.

You better hope they don’t hear about the .0019% hospitalization rate this virus is producing or they’ll be sure to make you show your papers to join the public. That is if they have any sense, or something like that.

Isn't it strange during flu season before covid, every where you look there are people sick all around you and wherever you go.Yourself ,your family, people you see in public, everywhere. Then we are told that covid is worst and a pandemique yet we don't come across anyone who shows signs of being sick.

Not hard to figure out.

With mask mandates and social distancing all normal colds and flu are way way down. My former neighbour who's very susceptible to normal colds and flu and who used to get sick multiple times each winter has enjoyed his best winter ever (no sickness in 2020) and no doubt will enjoy winter 2021 because of the Covid protocols.

There are some silver linings behind this dark cloud.

So Covid is a pandemic and highly contagious with skyrocketed cases, deaths etc...yet we don't see a single individual who shows signs of being sick.As for the cases of flu being down,I am not sure that is because of masks or social distancing but it could be from the fact that flights are banned from China and the flu is not coming into North America.

I agree - Not as many people coming from China and therefore less exposure could also be having a large effect.

Also if you're like I am, my person to person contact with strangers is way down because of Covid so am less likely to notice if other people are sick (also being masked up makes it tough to tell if someone is sick).

People who are sick with Covid are also obligated to quarantine at home so again less likely that you would be (or shouldn't be) in close contact with them to notice if they are sick.

That argument does not make sense to me.If there were a pandemique it would be every where.I work with the public and have not been in contact with any less people than before 2020 and there is no one that shows any sign of being sick-no sneezing or coughing nothing. From listening to the media I would expect the contrary-people falling dead in the streets.Isn't it strange also that there is no advice given to people to stay in shape and eat well to boost their immune system or what percentage of the population is being or has been tested-how many have had Covid. No proof that hospital are overloaded-no documentation showing hospital occupancy before and after Covid and no detailed death documentation to show how many people died of what and when before and during Covid.I can go on and on.Then there is the suspicion brought on by the fact that the whole internet is rigged or censored by socialist interest groups and money.

I think all of that information is there - if you're willing to look for it. If not - well that's another issue.

The information is not there unless you are talking about fake information. You can't get real information from a rigged system.-I think you know that but it is not to your interest whatever that may be.
