So, I'm asking here because of the traffic. I screwed up and shot my Dimension with the 6.5 man-bun barrel, and the damn thing shoots.

And the star-trek abortion of a stock fits me like it's custom.

So, I'm keeping it, and, since I don't take off bad weather days, wanna know what's the "go to" coating.

I'm not gonna take pictures of fish next to it underwater, but I don't wanna have to baby it or end up with a rusty POS.

That sounds like work. Gay and not work sounds better.

Bear in mind, deer killed with this may be transported ticks and all inside a minivan

I can’t recommend anyone, I do it myself. Not hard.

Here’s a LT 1100 I did in graphite black and maybe coyote tan?

You can’t really mess anything up that can’t be fixed.

Cerakote will scratch and wear so I just use Krylon and touch it up as necessary, which is not very often. $7.99 vs. $150.00 - no brainer to me, besides that nothing is going to improve the looks of the Dimension.

223 Rem, my favorite cartridge - you can't argue with truckloads of dead PD's and gophers.

Ain't that the truth.

SOB shoots though. Points like a fitted shotgun for me. Banging steel offhand made me realize some things > looks

I’d go rattle can.

If I were to put more than $20 in it, I’d go right to nitride.

The funniest part of this damn boat was I actually tried...I recruited good intel from SandBilly - who actually can paint things up in cool graphics, and I still humped the cat.

Sheesh, hold into the failure.

LOL

It’s hard to argue with anything done by Kampfeld but there isn’t a whole lot to cerekoting. For time and convenience I’d take it to anyone local that works at a competitive price and has examples of their work to show.
