I hope it isn't her death warrant. She tested positive yesterday. Went to check on them today, 104 degree temp and 88%o2. She's paralyzed and only has 20% lung function. I didn't have a choice.
Oh and she's vaccinated Sorry to hear of your Mom's troubles. She has my best wishes for a full recovery. May all of your family have their troubles eased.

Thanks everyone.
Picked her up last night, actually this morning. Hospital was full. Since she has her own o2 machine at home, she has the means to keep her oxygen level up.
I asked ER staff if hospital was full cuz of covid, they said no.

I haven't seen any rhyme or reason as to how people recover from covid. Healthy (relatively speaking) people cicum to the virus, some with multiple comorbitities survive with little to no long term negative effects. It's crazy...

I'm immune compromised due to meds and a few days of mild flu symptoms then I was in a stand looking for deer. It's the flu....

In august I lost a life long friend , not to covid but to a lack of care and to over medicating from this hospitals treatment policies . be glad you were able to get her home. we will keep your mom in our prayers .

I'm glad she's home Joel.
Did she receive the monoclonal Antibodies? Also I wanted to mention they make a Bubbler that injects a mist of water into the oxygen so it doesn't dry your nose and sinuses out.

She's on the list for monoclonal antibodies treatment. Hopefully we will get a call Monday from scheduling to get her into Blodgett for it. That IV did wonders for me
