Three weeks ago I sat at the Amoco gas station in Franklin WV for 5 hours waiting on my first WV building crew and building... more about that story is irrelevant. While I sat there parked at the corner of 33 and 220 I watched vehicles come and go (for fuel, ham biscuits, lunch, beer and soda et al) and observed no less than $6 million in vehicles come and go (.Gov vehicles, State and County vehicles, BRAND NEW D.O.T. service, bucket and dump trucks etc.). I consider monopoly utility companies to also be an extension of .GOV (i.e. we have NO CHOICE so therefore they count as .GOV... in my estimation). It was simply amazing... ALL OF THAT GOVERNMENT... all of that waste... I also observed a few hundred private citizen WV cars and trucks... many beaters, some nicer stuff... but overall well under 10% of the $$$ count I was doing. Crazy times... crazy crazy times. Good thing I don't have to pay for this waste... but I do feel sorry for the kids and grandkids that will have to. If you are not actively engaging EVERY enemy you encounter... you are allowing another to fight for you... and that is cowardice... plain and simple.
