Shooter for most hunters! Doubt if he'd walk by many hunters. Nice tall tines.
Yeah that's a tough call, on your part!
He's a really nice Buck! Cool to see on the Trail Cam!
Is he only on Cam at night? Is he Nocturnal, like most Good Bucks?
If you do see him, under your Stand, and Pass, will Someone else get him,
Where he doesn't get to grow bigger next year? There's no Guarantees!
I like to work it out in my Mind a Head of time!
Years Ago, I hunted one Huge Monster for 3 yrs. straight!
The first two years, I had decent shots on him, just not good bow shots with branches in the Way,etc.................
The Last year, I was really getting to know this guy good, and I had 11 encounters with him,
and the last one was in the Rain, in a Swampy, low lying area that would mainly dry out until the heavy rains came in, and then,
although still manageable, would change the Area's hunting!
So I was on the Ground, rain running down my neck, sending a chill down my back, but the Adrenalin was keeping me Warm, as I'm in,
Full Draw, watching the Buck about 23 yards away, Broadside, and moving from my left to right, and then as he disappeared behind a large bush in
the Swamp, I was waiting for him to take one or two steps past the bush to the opening, exposing his front shoulder area, for shot placement, but it wasn't happening.
The next thing I know, Something grunted behind me, and yep that was him, and when I slowly turned, he took off Flagging me slightly with his Tail, as to say Adios Amigo!
He didn't Flag long as older Bucks don't like to Run from Danger, into Danger!
Into the Heavy Timber, where he roamed until that next Spring, and He got Hit by a Car!
What I'm Saying is Enjoy the Hunt, He's a nice Buck!
Good Luck!
