ratsmacker Campfire Outfitter R Joined: Jul 2005 Posts: 12,534 Radcliff, Kentucky	Not trying to start an argument, but a lot of the commercial 1911s in that time frame were sold to Canada, for their officers to purchase (they were already in "The Great War"), and needed pistols, too. I think the number was 5000, but I might have mis-remembered that number. Colt sold a heckuva lot of pistols around that time, everyone wanted them. You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.
