I have a Zeiss Diavari 3x9x36 that looks like it has the Z-Plex reticle. I am trying to find the reticle subtensions in order to be able to estimate holdover at longer ranges. Zeiss has this page on their website:
https://www.zeiss.com/content/dam/c...datasheet-non-illuminated-reticle-20.pdfIt shows the opening between the center of the crosshairs to the beginning of the thick section of the crosshairs as covering 23" at 100 yards at 10 power and covering 29" at 100 yards at 8 power. So my scope set at 9 power should cover 26" at 100 yards. I estimate that dimension on my scope covers about 4" at 9 power at 100 yards. Where does Zeiss come up with 26"? What should that number really be?
