My nephews and nieces lived with someone and even had kids before they got married to them…. WOW.
If you were single later in life would you even think about it… most kids these days are waiting until they are nearly 30 or so, and divorce is so ugly money wise I don’t know if it’s worth it anymore.
Hard talking to kids about this kind of stuff if you haven’t thought about it in 30 plus years.

I lived with my wife for ten years before we married, we have been together thirty-seven years now. Again...so what?

That may be the way to go…. I didn’t say anything was wrong, just that the times and practices have changed.

Be a real bummer to marry someone just to find out you weren’t compatible when it comes to living together.

Why is divorce so expensive?
Because it's worth it!
Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

I was 31 when I got married. Still happy 26 years later.
Obey lawful commands. Video interactions. Hold bad cops accountable. Problem solved.

On purpose? In this country…Yes. On purpose. By design. antelope_sniper has posted significantly and specifically on this very subject. And he nailed it clean.

On purpose? No it didn't, people are people and will do as they will. And women are no longer stuck if they don't want to be.

Might be best to try on new shoes before plunking down the cash and just buying them nowadays.
The stakes can be very high.

Now, you see many women dependent on the Govt, and not “some guy”. Yes, this is often a good thing (when the guy is a lazy no-account jerk). Other times, they are quick to dump a good guy, or not willing to keep up their part of the marriage. Not a big deal when no kids involved, but a HUGE deal when they are. A society with bunches of kids running around that haven’t had a FATHER in their lives (a GOOD one), and that have grown up dependent on GOVERNMENT, does not bode well for the future health of that society....
