I keep some kind of all natural fig bars from Costco on the shelf, in the car, in the pack. For when the blood sugar starts to get low and I get grouchy.

Haven't had a Pop Tart since the Johns Manville place closed I think.

I alternate between strawberry and brown sugar so I don't get sick of either one.

Several years back my brother's nutjob wife left him. For some reason he was heart broken. He was also laid off. I thought it was just a matter of time and I was going to find his sorry ass hanging in his garage. So I told him lets go ice fishing. We head out to Devils Lake North Dakota.

I never seen such a sad case man. Sitting there ice fishing and he is eating ice cold chocolate pop tarts and drinking jim beam straight out of the bottle at like 9 in the morning. I was tempted to put him out of his misery more than once. Every time I see a box of poptarts I think of that trip.

There's cherry, and every pop tart that isn't cherry. I don't bother with the latter at all.

I only eat that crap on hunting trips, or out of emergency supplies. I'd rather have Sailor Boy pilot bread with PB and/or jam. Or cheese. You guys might not be able to get the SB most places outside of Alaska or sailing supply outlets. AK makes up something like 75% of their sales. Mostly the remote villages i think- pretty much a staple out there. smile. I think it used to be called "hard tack", or is similar, anyway.

Blueberry or strawberry- makes no difference with pop-tarts. I should probably get rid of that 5+ year old stuff and replace it with "new". Might try the peach.

Frosted of course.

SB lasts forever! smile

What flavors do you guys like? Maybe I should broaden my tastes.
