There has been a lot lost,
in gaining a few extra hunting days.

But a lot has already been lost.
The big buck chase has taken the relaxed enjoyment out of it.
To be replaced by a dick measuring, job, approach to hunting.

Sure w nt be moving through the woods today, bump into
a neighbor or friend, and work up an off the cuff plan.
"I'm going down that ridge, you wanna work the other side?"

Today, ain't nobody hunting someone else's place.
And they dam sure aren't gonna risk jumping a deer for someone
else to get.

Kinda reflects our society in general.

Daily during the season? How do you know it didn't shift from one day to the next? Shouldn't you confirm zero prior to each shot at game? Does confirming zero the day before mean it will be good the next day? The next week? The next 3 months?

Why don't you take your ignorant, trolling, sockpuppet ass off to a thread of your own making?

Dumbass.

I killed one last year with a rifle that hasn't seen paper since 2006. This stuff isn't complicated

The group think around this place is a sad state of affairs and living proof of why this nation is so screwed. I'd be willing to bet there isn't a single, original idea out of you group of girls.

I shoot my guns all year, so usually no last minute zero check.
When I fly to a hunt destination, I absolutely do.

Yes, I check the zero on the rifle. Then I go rabbit hunting as it is good practice.

I checked both of mine a couple of days ago that I am hunting with. Season opens Saturday. They were both good.

I feel the same way.
Besides that, I'm always dinking around swapping scopes and working up new loads so mine are most always sighted in.
I also keep a list on my gun safe so i know what load I'm sighted in with for each rifle and my muzzleloader.

I would love to have a hunting partner that would run ridges and canyons with me. We could absolutely murder blacktail deer. Problem is, I find someone with some potential, take em hunting, we make a plan, start down the ridge and they take a 90 degree turn after a cuppla hunnert yards and end up four miles from the damn truck.

Every.
Single.
Time.

Hunting with a partner is a lost damned art is all I can say.

That is crazy, you need to check zero every 14 seconds, especially if you are using a Leupold. Just ask anyone that doesn't kill stuff.

Naw. Used my 22 cm on the Wyoming goat, 1/2 the bullet, weighing in oz, the 6.5 ruined less meat, both are equally as dead, which is the outcome I wanted. Next time I’ll bring my 375 for ya. 👍

Ya love debunking the “campfire “ myths from the no killin crew. 😎👍
