Congrats Rene,
Great TN deer. Hopefully there will be some left when we move on up there, lol.

Just leave it isolated by itself in the pelvic girdle recess.
Most times they are empty anyways.
You can pinch and cut em out easy then

If I see it is ballooned up .
Just let it be now.
DGAF about it.

Hose out body cavity with good water flow back when me and the girls ate deer.
Punch it with knife tip with hose on it.
Squeeze and flush out with hose washing it all away.

Use to carry a syringe and bottle long ago to drain em and use it for scent.
I stopped using scent 15 16 yrs ago.
Used to buy interdigital hoof scent sold here local
Used to use tarsal glands.
Did all that stuff and pine bough scent box for my hunting clothes.

Just gave up on it all....
Too much hassle
Hunt the wind, terrian, travel corridors, fringes of bedding areas.

I have delibrately hauled deer to creeks to gut out and get em rinsed out cause of full bladder issues spilling onto meat.
Espeically tenderloins and exposed inner hams.
Punch that bladder under water last thing after everything else is gutted with lower body in flowing water.

Helped gut out a doe for a mutual friend of rick and me last fall.
Aggravating me watch him struggle with his "sharp knife".
Handed him the buck 110.

Coached him thru everything.
Seen bladder was full.
Told him leave it alone and this is what we are gonna do
Got the bladder issue addressed in a creek after rest of guts.

He woulda punched that bladder more than likely and polluted meat for hrs before he got it home.

Bladder in slumlords deer was a deflated balloon.
This one let his go when he got shot and died.
Whizz all inside his hind legs
1/ 4th full when I gutted him at the most.
Didnt really give it a thought after seen it.

Got it to slumlords hosed it out.
Got it to the meatlocker.

This was a deer I kept about 6 years ago when I was still able to dress them without blood-borne pathogen risks. I’d gently saw the pelvic bridge and do a hip stomp and spread the divide. Carefully delivered a very full bladder on this buck. I shot him in a bedding area.

Deal with that first, slide the turds up the track so none fall out and cut all the little mesentery and muscles along the chute and all the nasty parts are gone in a one gentle pull.

Not sure why everything on this forum has to be repeatedly explained.

It’s being donated, the can put a little skin in the game too and cut out the ass, they’re getting a nice, subsidized payment to process at the donation locker.

I just stick my knife in their ass all crazy and cut around with my eyes and mouth closed. Like Callnum’s boyfriend.

A deer ain’t that difficult to gut cleanly don’t even have to split the pelvis and no need for a butt out tool can all be done with a knife in 5-10 minutes

Can do it a few different ways. Sometimes I’ll capture that urine on a full bladder. Get them gutted, disemboweled and do the butt job on the gambrel, leave the canal intact and pull it out straight-up.

I’ll bottle that and use it on another property a few miles away in a line of scrapes. Established and mock.

Fug gutting deer.

That’s barbaric.

Hang em up.

Pull the hide down.

Cut backstraps out.

Cut front shoulders off.

Get the neck roast.

Reach in the stomach and get the sweet / preacher meat.

Pop the hind quarters at the hip joint.

Mid section drops on the ground.

Easy Peasy.

No messing with pee bag, anus. Guts. Organs. Etc.

Split the pelvis, done in under 5 minutes.

It was getting dark, and it was cold.

There’s trees where you hunt? I’ve done that on the ground. Lol

All depends on time of day, how much help I have, what animal it is, how far away from a road and what I’m packing.

Probably works great on bucks that are 140 lbs on the hoof and can be driven up to.
