No...never have.

We never have them cut that way when we have a beef processed.

I have never seen one for sale in town.
Can't see paying for extra bone on a ribeye.

This market sells Akaushi. 35.00/lb

This was 12.00/lb
Can't beat that, the only time i bought one it was marked down

Had a buddy got one in Nashville a few years ago. I've seen tomahawk pork in my local grocery store.

Did you sear it and then finish it in the oven? That's what I've had to do with them. They are so thick they are hard to cook all the way on a grille.

My favorite ribeye is a nice 1" thick boneless one. Get the cast iron pan nice and hot. Butter both sides of the steak and coat it heavy with cayjun seasoning. Sear both sides in the smoking hot pad. Put the lid on and turn the heat down. Bring it to medium rare and melt blue cheese crumbles on it just before serving.

I'm on an 800 cal a day diet right now so I should stay away from food threads. I lost 7 pounds this week and need to loose 8 more before stomach surgery on the 29th. My foodie days are over but hopefully I'll be hunting more again soon.
