I just got a Duracell for my F250. $120 OTD for 850 CCA. The original battery went kaput after 3 years.

FWIW, ignore the AGM batteries... Just sayin'... Umm, no. There are applications for AGM's in some vehicles where a conventional lead/acid battery won't cut it. If your vehicle calls for an AGM, use one.

Those vehicles that have a lot of electronics in are equipped with IBS's (Intelligent Battery Sensors). The AGM's have more reserve capacity as a rule, and if voltage drops below a certain threshold during high load situations (Cold starts, extended idling in hot weather with A/C on etc) the IBS's will often go into "Battery Saver" mode and selectively take non essential systems offline to preserve battery power to run the vehicle. Have seen lead acids in these applications fall on their faces many times.

I have had good luck with Autozone and O'reilly batteries. Not sure who manufactures them.
