whatever. they'll have the battery you need at probably the best price and return policy, if the OP had asked where to get anti-seize I sure wouldn't have said go to Napa. smfh

An auto parts store that doesn't carry anti-seize is unlikely to have the proper battery in stock.

I've had good luck with Auto zone Duralast batteries. No matter which one you choose, look at the date stickers on the side and get the newest one you can find. They can sit on the shelf for months and months before somebody buys them.

Motorcraft hard to beat if its a Ford. Duracell otherwise.

Timely.

I just replaced a pair of 10 1/2 year old motorcraft batteries (original) in my superduty.

Called NAPA, Carquest, O’reilly, and priced the Chinese embassy. Walmart had the best price (Johnson control).

Just for shîts and giggles, I called the local blue oval. They beat Walmart by 6 bucks each.

And, in spite of what Eddie at the Ford parts counter says, motorcraft doesn’t make the batteries.

They are JC same as WM. Both are the “Max” 3 year warranty battery.

Umm, no.

There are applications for AGM's in some vehicles where a conventional lead/acid battery won't cut it. If your vehicle calls for an AGM, use one.

Correct brand for the application.

If you’re asking here, ShuperShart at WalMart.

You’ll never know the difference.

There are only three or four auto battery manufacturers, and they all manufacture batteries per their client's specs.

They are engineered to last just about as long as the warranty that is offered for the particular unit.

So - if you want a battery that will last 1 year, buy one with a 1 year warranty. Want it to last 3 years...etc. etc.

Check out "Project Farm" on youtube. The guy tests products and seems to do a better than average job of doing it in an unbias manner..

He tested car batteries in 12/19 and recommended the Wal-Mart Maxx Everstart. He found that Johnson Controls makes around one-half of the car batteries made in the U.S. that are sold under a variety of brand names. I currently have these batteries in all seven of my cars, two of which sit more than they are driven as they are vehicles that we leave at our vacation homes and only use for a few weeks each year.

The Motorcraft OE battery in my F250 lasted 7 years. No other battery lasted more than 4 years.

Given the cost to shut down/start up production, I question if that's the case or not.
