A real "commercial" Mauser, not a military clone, will not have the stripper clip slot in the rear bridge, or the thumb cutout in the left rail. I love the Mausers! The pre-64 Winchester 70s are nearly as cool. I've got a Super Grade in very minty condition, with original detachable sling swivels. Sadly, it's in the, recently ill-reputed, 270 Winchester chambering, LOL.
