Got all the parts for a Defiance AnTi, 7 SAUM sitting here waiting to be sent off to Shaen.
Haven't been shooting much with the shortages and it isn't really on my list of things to do.
Whatcha liking about the SAUM over a straight 7 WSM, Higgy? 🦫 ADG makes good brass.
Screw you! I'm voting for Trump again!

No new firearms, but I'm going illuminated reticle on all my hunting scopes, and I ordered a can for my 44mag single shot, so that's gotta get chopped and threaded.
I know the feeling....I’m trying to stay in the “Loony” game, but with optics...At least for now. Allowing myself the flexibility to change my mind any second. 😬🦫

I sold off most everything. What’s left is what i’ll Die with. All the stuff I could never sell. Wife knows the value. BIL will take care of it. Most already have homes. Wish I was still going through a new gun a month but that was a long time ago..... Jeff, you’re not dead yet ! You keep hunting and working those pups of yours. 🦫

I want a 4 inch 686 and a 5.5 inch stainless single 7. Do it, Jim. Don’t be a pussy.. They are gone here. Just when I get some Christmas money saved up....a pandemic hits and Brandon is in the White House.
I am MAGA.

Bought a G20 yesterday. No more rifles needed at the moment as I have a few that either have never been shot or haven’t been shot in a year+.

I am playing around with this custom rifle I bought a few years back. It’s a 7 wsm that was built by GunWerks. It’s got a slab sided receiver from Howa with an unknown fluted barrel mfg that I had threaded for a brake... It’s sitting in a Bansner stock. Dang thing is light weight, and shoots, tight sexy holes. I’ve played musical scopes on it. Currently, it has a Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5-16x42 sitting. Decent enough scope, but it has covered turrets........The 7 wsm allows plenty of power to dial ranges. Thinking I need a different scope, but I don’t want to crucify myself with additional scope weight. Decision, decisions.... Had a Leupold VX6 on it once....Sold it...wish I hadn’t now. It was a nice compromise between weight and dialing. YMMV 🦫 Maybe a Razor LHT.........

I have pretty much infinity rifles, so.....I am building a charcoal burner and hopefully can launch 50 cal hand cast pills with reasonable accuracy past the 500 mark.
Thinking rice tube on a hawken.
I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.

Yup, the Zeiss V4 in 4-16x44 @ $699 is my fall back to scope. I’d like to try a Vortex Razor LHT - been looking for one at a price point that makes me jump...The Zeiss checks a lot of boxes, and the price of course is gtg. 🦫

As mentioned on another thread, I'm trying to pick up a Standard Arms Model M pump gun in 30 Remington. The owner and I haven't come to an agreement on price but he doesn't seem as firm as he once was.
Another possibility is an Arisaka Type 38 I found out about this afternoon. If I am reading the marks correctly, it was made in 1909. I'll be looking at that one tomorrow.
Otherwise, I have a 98 Mauser I want rebarreled to 6mm Rem. I currently have a 6mm already but it has a 1:12" twist and it does not like to shoot any 100 gr bullets other than Rem Core-Lokts. It will shoot Sierra Pro-Hunters decent enough but I have only one partial box of those. I figure a 1:8" twist will work well with the remaining 100 gr bullets I have on hand as well as with any heavier or unleaded bullets I might want to use.
