Thanks for that link. Seems the RS model is assembled in the US with Japanese components. Have you used one? DF

DF Absolutely I have it on my ultra lightweight 240 Weatherby I believe it's a wilderness rifle always under 7 lb ready to go with everything on it very clear glass and tracks wonderfully additionally they do military and civilian law enforcement first responder discount in case you qualify. Their quality is great and their prices are very fair that's why they cut out the middleman and you can only buy directly from them

What's your opinion on that. DF

I checked out their web site and specs on the 2-10.
ER is 60-79mm at 2X, 60-81mm at 10X.
I've not seen a scope with increased ER at max power vs. low power. But those are their numbers.
That translates to 2.3"-3.1" inches and 2.3"-3.3" inches.
That may a tad close, but the scope looks impressive for the cost.
I was impressed enough to order one. Will report.

DF Let us know if you split your eyebrow! Already have a scope on my .375 H&H; I think it's one I got from you, a Zeiss Victory 2-10x42... I have rifles it'll work on without getting a "Weatherby trademark"... DF

Trijicon has a 3-9x40. Good glass, good eye relief, light, 1" tube, made in Japan. Huron (no illumination), Credo (with illumination and more reticle choices). Can be had for $500-$550.

Eye Relief 2.5 in. - 3.7 in. Not so good.

Eye Relief 2.5 in. - 3.7 in. Not so good. I have a Trijicon Accupoint 3-9x40 on my Pre-64 FWT .358 Win. It's a great scope, has the green dot duplex which I like. It's ER numbers don't look that good on paper, but in real life, there doesn't seem to be a problem. The .358 Win isn't a big kicker, but it does kick with the loads I'm feeding it. I look forward to comparing it with the Maven. DF

Accupoint doesn't have a battery, just the fiberoptic/tritium set up. DF
