Damn. Must have set you back a little. Really nice.

Thanks.

IIRC one piece ivory was about $500 each. But that was several years ago.

Seems I paid around $3K for the pair, used of course.

Ya reckon I could recoup my investment in current Brandon administration dollars?

Last is the Colt rosewood grips I carved and had Errol Case in MO checker. Those fit my hand, and I wanted these to be similar, sent one along with the Grip frames of the engraved .38's. Nutmeg did a good job repeating the shape. The rosewood ones also have the deep dish medallion.

Thanks, they are special and I'm fortunate to have them.

I did shoot them in CAS and they did get some attention.

I'd love to own that SAA, always wanted an engraved SAA in blue and case colored frame.
I had Nutmeg do two Colts for me, I had a new SAA engraved and nickeled w/ one piece Ivory grips,
the other was a new GCNM engraved and reblued in a deep royal blue again with Ivory grips.
I have a really nice SAA with dual cylinders 45 & 45ACP that I might have to get engraved after seeing yours.

That's their deep dish medallion. I like those, too.

Wow! 😳
Some really nice colt’s here, but, the one piece ivory grips on Dirtfarmers’s and jbmi’s Colts really are something. Hawkeye’s one piece stags are pretty spiffy too.
