Phuu.ck that.

I like dogs more than I like people. Especially more than I like half of my family.

Right now we have three. Pretty much always had at least two. Wouldn't want to be without them. They are family.

Nice yard, nice floors, nice furniture, clean vehicles... lots of upside to no dog.

Same here with 4 dogs. Hardwoods throughout too.

Two labs and a cattle dog. I have had three a few times, 4 once. Two is perfect, three is doable and 4 was a mess.

Had three. As of last month, down to two. I’ll say two is company, three is a crowd.

Had an old schnauzer, have a bird dog and a cur of some flavor. Both girls are getting up there. Catfish the bird dog is 9ish and Sally is 13 I believe.

Wife swears no more dogs when these two go. 😀

We have two house dogs, both male papillions. The old guy is 13 and weighs about 8 pounds. The young one is 5 and probably would hit close to 15 pounds.

I like these little dogs. I would prefer to have one house dog or no house dog. These little dogs are good though. They don't eat much. They are incredible watchdogs. They can hear anything and if they hear anything like someone coming into the house, believe me, everybody wakes up....fast.

I've had a lot of dogs, beagles, foxhounds, coonhounds and retrievers. I want no part of a working dog living in the house. I would not have a big dog in the house either. About spaniel-size would be the upper limit.

Did Sally come from Idaho?

Two at present, but due for a new third. Gotta keep that rotation rolling as Valsdad spoke of. All are true house-dogs. Older I get, more I gravitate to the small breeds. 3 ten to 15 lbers are less mess and hassles than one BIG dog, and three times the love. Go non-shedding and hypo allergenic and it’s just a bunch of Teddy Bears come-to-life. Shoot myself in the head before living without dogs in my house.

My wife runs a pet rescue group that she founded twenty years ago, we have anywhere from fifteen to twenty at any given time. Usually small to medium sized land sharks. She wonders why I'm gone all the time.
