Had a buddy call yesterday with a hot cat track on his trap line where he is doing some predator control for a rancher.

I slipped away from work and took an experienced dog and two pups. Both had been on bear and coon but this was their first lion.

We actually trailed it to a freshly killed coyote that the cat had killed, partially ate and buried.

Treed 250 yards from the buried kill.

Trapper shot it with his .22-250.

Not a big cat but him and the rancher were glad to see it off the place. I was just glad all the dogs trailed and treed.

With a cricket? That'd be tough for about anyone, let alone a new hunter. Good job!

This is a repeat of a repeat, but to keep it above the Corner Crossing SNAFU I present to you a .22 Hi-Power kill.

Was going through some old pics and had almost forgot about this whitetail I .22-250’d that made the mistake of thinking he was hidden while I checked some traps years ago. Busy day.

There is a solid market for porky hair and quills. They all end up in Native American head dresses and craft projects.

I hear porcupines are good eating.

Obey lawful commands. Video interactions. Hold bad cops accountable. Problem solved.

When I was a teenager, I shot a few porky's, we cooked then, not that great! I'd not go through the trouble again.

You fellas should be ashamed of yourselves !
Stunt shooting like that !
Everybody knows it takes at least a .270 for big game and even that can be questionable
