Welcome to the club and I don’t even have a 10/22 or a 581. Wouldn’t trade where I’m at to be a rich man though. Count me one happy hillbilly.

I'm not a millionaire and never will be. I'm definitely not as "successful" as so many here at the campfire claim to be.
And probably half my guns are older than 50 years old!

If you're worth 2,115 million, are you allowed to participate in the "millionaire" thread?

Me either. Sometimes I envy people who live abroad and worry about the stock market. More often, I feel blessed to have all my kids and grandchildren within 10 miles of me and a roof over all our heads.

Dan, I remember when that was the only 10/22 on dealer shelves. What a beauty.

1954-ish Winchester 74
1939-1941 Mossberg No. 50
1950's Marlin 88
All of them will drive tacks. Especially the Marlin, which is super picky with ammo, but very accurate with ammo it likes.
Glad you don't have to be a millionaire to afford a sweet old .22.

Phffft, that's only 72 years old. Here, lemme show you what happens when you add another 100 years to that.

Mine is only 43. Its got a old Weaver K4 on it.
Its never shot as good as yours, or it could be the piss poor connection between rifle and ground.

Bought my Ruger 10/22 deluxe in 1976. It would be 45 years old, “if” I hadn’t sold it about 20 years ago. Oldest gun I bought new is a 1974 Rem 700 ADL, 25-06. I rarely shoot it, but killed my first dozen deer with it, and my son killed a few with it. I do have a 1965 vintage Win model 270 pump .22. That model was the first firearm I owned.
