Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill Absolutely excellent, Gary Oldman is a fantastic actor. If you like this, read The Splendid and the Vile. There are many Churchill biographies, but this one concentrates on Churchill's life during the Battle of Britain in great detail. Hisown party largely detested him, and Parliament made short work of him after the war.

Narcos Mexico Season 3 just started tonight on Netflix. I grew up with some guys from Ojinaga that would talk about their Tio (Uncle) Pablo and his exploits. That made that series all the more interesting for me.

The River Runner and the Alpinist are both worthy of watching I second that on the Alpinist, but I was super nervous watching it. I couldn't watch it straight through without taking breaks. Pretty intense. 14 Peaks is also very good.

The Eyes of Tammy Faye, on Amazon. Surprisingly good. Whoever the actress is who played Tammy Faye Bakker, did a heck of a job. It hits the right balance of showing how ridiculous the Bakkers and the whole televangelist phenomenon was, but at the same time Tammy Faye comes across as a sympathetic character.
Well done and way better than it has any right to be.
