Sound Great ! Except for the creamed corn. 😬

Mom would always make Succotash, which is just Lima beans and corn with lots of butter for our Holiday vegetable dish.
Of course along with a heap of mashed potatoes covered with gravy. And of course, deviled eggs, pecan pie, and lots of homemade Christmas Candy.

A salad with more ingredients than I can list, a two bone rib roast cut into 2 pound-and-a-half ribeyes (charcoal grilled), portabellas in wine sauce, baked sweet potato, and cold cranberry salad for dessert. And of course a nice Merlot.

Homemade chicken pie, broccoli casserole and corn, green beans, and taters from this year’s garden. It was a fine Christmas feast!

Tonight at our home with the Old Lady's tribe,
Ham, candied sweet potatoes, scslloped potatoes, sweet/sour green beans,
Harvard beets, Rolls, probably something else.

Tomorrow at my tribe's,
Same pretty much, except the Old Lady is making baked corn to take,
And Mom will have red beet pickled eggs, and several of her pickles in a dish.
