Once it gets cold better than half of the farmers and ranchers there are either wearing Stormy Kromer's OR Filson wool caps (has great ear flaps). Yes the Fudd look is strong but we are warm when needed!

The Filson caps in waxed cotton might be OK, but, I bought one in orange fabric/wool lined for deer/elk hunting and the wind rips right through it. Hard Pass for me on the Filson for cold weather. I can walk on water.......................but I do stagger a bit on alcohol.
