I've tried it both ways, and a slow simmer to tenderize the veggies doesn't really hurt the texture of the noodles. Just don't let a rolling boil get going. A flame war or two on the fire is just about the right amount of cooking time!

I can honesty say, never ate it in 42 years walking the earth.

Not that I’m a uppity mofo. I’ll eat Vienna’s and spam.

I’ll fug up the microwave Mac n cheese cups though.

Try adding a foil packet of tuna or acan if you are cheap, or a can of chicken if you are feeling extravagant..
$1.10-$2.25 fora goodwarm me up meal...
Side benefit.
Drop the flavor packet in a mug of hot water to get your core temperature up..
A lot like dinking chicken broth to warm the body up...

I ate enough of them in College. Never wanna see another cup of Ramon Noodles.

Do like the Microwave MAC & Cheese cups Big Dave Mentioned, though. The Velveeta Brand one’s are the best.

The Microwave Cups of Idahoan Mashed Potatoes are damned good too !

When I was in DC, a homeless-looking guy came into the deli I frequented and bought a can of Campbell's condensed cream of mushroom soup, asked the clerk to open it, took a plastic spoon, and ate it.

Ramen for a month

Not bad, I took it hiking often

10cent a pack

Ramen noodles without that damn flavor pack. Ramen noodles and a jar of chicken or beef bullion fed me many a time. A little chopped onion all the better.

Always have some in the cupboard. Sometimes leave the flavor packet out and add some good chicken bullion

Hammer fist em on the counter.
Not enough to burst the packet, but hard enough multiple times to break em up.
3 packs
Hot azz water to begin with.
Microzap 2 mins
Stir .
Zap one more min.
Drain water along side of sink.

Look in fridge.
Merican cheese.
Shredded cheddar
Chopped up what ever lunch meat.
Salsa or hot sauce.
Can of beefaroni.
Vienna,s
Can of mixed vegetables
Bag of microwaved rice

Imagination is the limit with ramen.

Ate alot of ramen on this rock in the infantry.
Ate alot of buckethead ramen x 3 tours in korea also.

Probably got 2 dozen packs up in the kitchen.
Might eat it once or twice a month or once in a couple of months.

Once when I was delivering Dr Pepper to a little grocery store in the rough part of town a homeless guy came in asking the owner for dry cat food, owner said he had dry dog food but no cat food. Homeless guy said no, he wants cat cause it has more protein.

Both Ramen and Cup O Soup around here.

A little Slap Ya Momma gives it a bit of kick as well.

I still wanna know about the little chink that peels the tiny shrimps in the cup of soups, must have a micro set of dick skinners on his hands!

Never discovered those until I was about 35. A cutting board with some leftover meat, onions, mushrooms, celery, carrots, etc with 2 minutes and 40 seconds in the microwave, and I had a pretty good lunch.

Couple packages of one of the spicy varieties, break the noodles up good, add a tablespoon of butter or margarine, a tablespoon or two of dried onion bits, small can of mushrooms along with juice, dash or two creole seasoning, a little garlic and curry powder and both packs of the seasoning that comes with noodles. Add enough water to cover. Microwave for around 3 +/- minutes.

Crush a packet and dump noodles into a pot. Add seasoning packet contents and some red pepper flakes or Tony's. Cover with water and heat on stove until tender. Good eats.

Santa Ramen. San Mateo, CA.

Not the best I’ve had, but good enough.
