Leave the "packet" out, and you'll be fine. Its nothing but salt.

Microwave cooker from amazon.
Drop in noodles and seasoning and fill to water line.
Microwave like they say.
Stir in 2-3 eggs and microwave again.
Much better and more to it.
Yes on green onions to.

Saw that. Thanks.
I meant cooked with it. 2-3. Not as a garnish. Seldom fix it without eggs.

Oh, you are referring to eggs over, on the side?

Never done that.

We keep packaged ramen type noodles around for emergency quickie meals (and of course for occasional drunken chef purposes), but those square plastic packets of fried then dehydrated garbage noodles with the 'flavor' pack are about as close to real ramen as a Filet-O-Fish is to a fresh broiled swordfish steak.

Hey JumboShrimp, anata wa hafu desu-ka? Oh, well. Now you've done it. Conrad's going to be hating on you now all ricky-ticky like...

And yes, I tossed up a couple of pics of hot Vietnamese and Korean noodle dishes as well. Sue me.

Ain’t lived till you’ve combined a package of beef ramen with a can of Boy R D raviolis. Yessir. Try it slum. Or, those fancy pants ravs from Aldi’s.

I’ve honestly NEVER seen someone buy ramen noodles with an EBT card.

More along the lines of steak, bacon, and 5 packages of ground meat.

Appears that ramen is only for homeless folks, and those who work for a living....

Back when I was in college, I made ground venison with some hot sauce to mix into ramen. I didn't die.

for lunch add a cup of canned deer for each bowl of ramen. yum.

camping. add a couple ounces of dried burger to boiling water to reconstitute and then add ramen. makes a good quick lunch over a fuel tab on a cold day.

Cup-O-Noodles should be on every backpackers' menu. The hot salty broth is a welcome relief when you are thirsty.
