John Jovino started out as Model 25 image upload no registration <a href='https://postimages.org/' target='_blank'><img src='https://i.postimg.cc/v8n8Mfrp/IMG-6292.jpg' border='0' alt='IMG-6292'/></a> <a href='https://postimages.org/' target='_blank'><img src='https://i.postimg.cc/v8n8Mfrp/IMG-6292.jpg' border='0' alt='IMG-6292'/></a> Next was a 25 that got a full make over At Magna Port and then sent to get plated Been contemplating letting a few I don't shoot go down the road...These 2 might have to stick around.

Thanks Ted, I did not hesitate when I had a chance to grab the Jovino some years ago...that NY shop was very well known and I believe one of the oldest gun stores.

Yep it is a shame that the majority of the newer shooters are into the tactical stuff and don't appreciate the older gear like the JJ guns.
Of course Jovino's guns were actually the "tactical" guns for many of that era, especially in places that only allowed revolvers.
I am afraid if I owned either of those they would not look as pristine, as I know darn well I would carry them in the mountains. Any self-respecting bear or lion should be honored to get plugged by such a fine looking piece! Couple one of those in a Milt Sparks rig and you would have one seriously badazz looking setup!

I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....

I agree with the above, I carry a G43 and practice to stay sharp but I enjoy and shoot often my 66's, 27-2, 28-3 686's including the CS1 both 3" and 4", 25's and a couple of .44 mags with lighter loads purchased from a friend

My wife would love those. She likes revolvers, and mild 45 loads. The ones that buck and jump, but don't hurt.

The shame is, so many so called gun people, don't appreciate the quality of guns like that.

I like both of those! My cartridge preference in a revolver too! No offense meant here, but those pistolas are begging for nice sets of grips...

Absolutely fantastic guns! I'm with you on the .45 Colt.........I am blessed to own a S&W 25-7 and a 625 Mountain Gun in that wonderful old cartridge.
