Waiting in line in the sun at the ramp for like 2hrs to get that thing in the water.
PITA...

I heard a bunch of PHAGGOTS lived there.

Not a boat ramp story.

We did a week of mule riding in Utah June β€˜20. On one of the rides, a longer one, they brought a wagon pulled by mules. It carried water coolers and lunch, and allowed some to unstraddle and ride the wagon if they chose.

At the day’s conclusion, the wagon driver backed the wagon onto the flatbed trailer for the return. Then unhitched the mules. He was good! Wish I had gotten pics.

I used to think boat ramps were all a serious circus until I started putting in at the ramp at Hammond at the mouth of the Columbia River during the Buoy 10 fishery... there are literally hundreds of boats lined up to launch, four lanes to back down, and police often direct traffic while guys are dropping off or picking up their boats. You better not be the guy who doesn't have his stuff in the boat and ready to launch when your turn comes or you will not so politely be asked to head to the back of the line. And you better be able to back down first time and put it in straight and in your lane or somebody is going to be seriously upset with you. You would be amazed at how many boats they launch in a relatively short time and get out of the way and out fishing . You're expected to leave the dock fairly quickly to get out of the way of the next guys launching, so piss before you launch and be ready to launch, jump in, get the heck out on the river and out of the way...

Sometimes all this is happening while there is a fog so thick you can't see 50 feet, and you can hear fog horns from the huge ships going downriver in the shipping channel which is just a couple hundred feet outside the mouth of the small the cove the launch is in.... it can get pretty dicey at times.... Then, there is the Columbia to deal with.... some guys don't do it twice.....

Bob

And there’s 23 other folks waiting to take out.

there are a couple of dedicated boat ramp channels on Youtube, one is in Miami - people getting into fights, ramming boats into each other, sinking cars, plus a pretty good share of women in thongs.

The horses kept drowning. Went to ponies same result. Cats didn’t have enough thrust so they had to get special dispensation from the elders. Motors are non-English.

Another is Lake Havasu, the video I watched had the crowds lining the boat launch when people were taking out after having been drinking most of the day.
The crowds heckling is pretty humorous.

If the Amish were all that worried about what God wanted they would stop raping their sisters and daughters. It's a huge problem in the Amish community.

Last year I saw a TV show boat break the Drotto off his trailer trying to load up at the end of the day. More F bombs than were dropped in WW2
