So it looks like the dog might have been protecting it's owner who was sleeping from cheap security guards. It also looks like the security guards were morons. Why didn't one of them just grab the dogs lead? I have owned several dogs that would not let strangers near me while I slept. None were Pits. I also notice the common chorus of 24HR Campfire pit haters tuning up their fear fetish of a dog breed on what is a very limited video.

Sounds like the homeless guy had his ‘comfort animal’. Can’t be denying anyone access to the library, after all, the restroom is handy.
A small bat to the head would of done the trick, no shooting in the library/homeless shelter. Yep. Homeless guy sleeping in the library with his flea-bitten dog. Dog attacks. Can’t be denying homeless folks the “right” to use the library as their daytime “homeless shelter”, and bringing their dogs with them... The dog actually looks well taken care of. If you were homeless would you like to have a dog to warn you if anyone was messing with you or your stuff while you slept?

San-Fran. Oh what a surprise! No one allowed to have guns.
The spokesman said "We are going exhaust every option we have" Not true!!!!!!!!!!!! That's outright BS! One that won't even be considered is to stop denying people their 2nmd amendment right, and then these things would not happen much. When they did the dogs would be dead in a few seconds. Same with the thousands of street criminals all over that city and state.
But we always get the government we deserve (and pay for) not the one we want.

I don't know about San Francisco, but in Wisconsin all service dogs need to wear a service dog jacket that identifies them as a service dog. They can't even be petted by other people. The wife used to train service dogs.
I can't imagine a pit as a service dog. My daughter has a couple of those things only because she plucks them out of a shelter because nobody else ever wants them. They are all muscle and will behaved as hers have been, I still don't trust them. I was walking them once and a guy came from across the street to pet them. They are homily and not tactile at all and I think that the guy was looking for a law suit instead of trying to be friendly. You can buy that stuff online along with little cards that say they are service dogs!!!

Without seeing the beginning to end it’s hard to say . Same blah blah about pits , dumb azz owners sometimes , sometimes dumbazz people getting in their space , it falls to one or the other . If you have a dog like a Pit , Rottweiler , or other dog of that nature you need to be in control at all times and aware of idiots who want to prove they love dogs . If it’s somebody else’s dog , leave it the fugk alone . Going into a public place with any dog is asking for trouble . My dogs are never allowed outside the fenced in back yard unless I am there with them and they are kept close and I always have a 45 in my hip pocket just in case something stupid happens . If I go into public they are on lease with body harness , but that’s only to the vet . Stopped walking them on trails because a lot of people think it’s ok to let their dogs run on trails . Or want to pet . They have never shown aggression to a human except my nieghbor , if he knocks on the door they go ape shiet and this is for good reason . Have had some hairy experiences with dogs getting to close to mine and having to handle both dogs as the other owner stands there pissing their self . Kenneth

"If I was homeless, I wouldn't want another mouth to feed."
They keep dogs to protect themselves and their bindles from other junkies/bums. Crime among them is fantastically high. In my little town we've had multiple cases of bums stabbing each other, even a case of a bum being set on fire in his tent by other bums. Poaching, illegal burning, endless theft.
Check this out.. a liberal female 'pastor' started a bullshit 'safe camp' for bums at her church. The neighbors of course complained bitterly about the noise and theft. 'Tough sheit', she said. Anyway -and I'm not making this up!! - a meth addicted part-time gay porn junkie/bum from southern California stole a jeep down in Lancaster or Palmdale and drove it up to this 'safe camp' here in Oregon. Within a week of arriving he was arrested from the church property for beating another bums head in with a bat over some weed. This is what we're dealing with..

Sure you would if it meant your safety was valuable to you. As for your opinion of being homeless I guess you know little about people suffering under it.

I guess it goes to show it's a rough neighborhood to need security guards in the library. The "service dog" shows why...😄 Good grief. I want to see the rest of the video. Two slow mo strikes isn't enough to see how this pans out.
Goods point. You know it’s a liberal run crap hole when the public library needs at least three security guards and the local library patrons stroll in with their pitbull “service dogs” at least they all had their mask on though..

Bahahahaha you guys are such pussies and likely afraid of any dog with a shadow when it gets dark. If a 50lb dog could strike the fear in you guys like it did the two gaurds I “pity” you. For one the dog has his jacket. Two I don’t know why if a dog was grabbing your sleeve you would commence to rolling around on the ground exposing your face/neck. Three if all your buddy is willing to do is take half assed swings and miss with what looks to be a 3” crescent wrench you should find a different partner.

When we had anything questionable come through the door at the animal hospital, the one who had to wear a mask was the dog. In Frisco the people wear the muzzles and poop on the sidewalks. There are actually people who do studies on homeless people pet ownership. Less than 10% own pets. I'm right and the science says you are wrong.

Your daughter must have a death wish hopefully she does not get anyone killed with her naive"good intentions". Nothing dumber than a female with zero canine training think they can train a dangerous pitfbull to be good around people and the animals.. A young dumb female pitfall just killed 2 dogs locally in a dog park. She should have been charged a oolong as one of the owners seriously seriously injured trying to save her dog.

To hell with the club,, carve that worthless dog like a Thanksgiving turkey. Doesn't anyone carry a friggin' pocketknife anymore? Hell, even a "tactical pen" would have been effective in letting the air out of that POS. What I always think in these cases. I'd stick a knife between his ribs and cut. Let the air in. He wont fight long. The key to a dog like this is to give up on not being bit. It's probably already happened. You gotta fight. Everyone wants to get away, and a Pit ain't gonna have that.
